Here are some questions and their answers that could be useful

Caulking Gun

Caulking guns are generally used for dispensing one part sealants such as silicone, polyurethane, MS Polymer and polysulphide sealants that are packed either in 300ml cartridge or 600ml sachet.

After using a caulking gun, remove the cartridge/sachet. Clean the uncured sealant from the frame and plunger by wiping it down with a damp cloth, and if necessary, use a suitable solvent or mineral spirit to remove any stubborn residue. If the uncured sealant is not cleaned timely, it will cure overtime and can become difficult to clean without manually scraping.

When selecting a caulking gun, consider the criteria like type of adhesive, viscosity of the adhesive, time of dispensing, size and capacity of the cartridge/sachet, duration of dispensing operation, etc.

Two Part Dispenser

A two-part dispenser is a specialized tool designed to dispense two different materials, often referred to as Resin and Hardener in a particular ratio simultaneously. When dispensed perfectly, Resin and Hardener are mixed to achieve specific end use properties. Two-part adhesives are packed in a dual cartridge system of 50ml, 200ml, 400ml and 380ml coaxial systems.

The two components typically consist of a base material and a hardener or activator. When these components are mixed in the specific ratio, they undergo a chemical reaction to form a strong and durable bond.

Two-component dispensers are commonly used in various industries including construction, automotive, electronics, manufacturing, wind, marine, railways, aerospace, EV and solar segment. They are used for applications such as bonding, sealing, and potting.

The two-part dispenser holds the twin cartridge and when triggered, it dispenses the Resin and Hardener simultaneously in the desired ratio. The Resin and Hardener are then forced through a mixing nozzle to ensure proper mixing and precise application.

Yes, proper safety precautions should be taken, including wearing goggle, mask, apron, hand gloves etc and working in well-ventilated areas. Additionally, operators should be trained to follow best practices in applying adhesives.

Static Mixer

A static mixer is a device used to blend or mix two components of adhesives together in desired ratios. The use of an appropriate mixer ensures that the adhesive is thoroughly mixed before it is applied, making it more effective for its intended application.

Static mixers have two main components. A housing and mixing element. The mixing elements are designed to create turbulence and disturbance in the flow of Resin and Hardener in such a way that they get mixed into a homogenous mixture at the point of dispensing.

Mixpac cartridge

Cartridge system is a low-cost meter mix system moulded in either side by side plastic twin or coaxial cartridges. When Resin and Hardener is pushed through the cartridge using suitable dispenser, they mix in a pre-defined ratio in the static mixer to produce bonding and sealing properties for specific end use.

Mixpac cartridges provide a durable meter mix packaging option for all types of two part adhesives and sealants. These highly engineered cartridges provide extended product shelf life while ensuring perfect mixing ratio, reduced wastage and easy and clean dispensing option without having to manually handle the chemicals.

Yes, Mixpac cartridges come in various pack sizes. Few of the common packs are 50ml, 200ml and 400ml with different mixing ratios such as 1:1, 2:1, 4:1 and 10:1.

Mixpac cartridges are compatible with a wide range of adhesive chemistries like, Epoxy, Polyurethane, Silicone and Methacrylate adhesives.
