Purpose of the role :

  • Responsible for designing, developing and testing complex mechanical systems and equipment.

Ideal Profile :

Educational Qualification Essential BE / B.Tech. Mechanical
Preferred BE / B.Tech. Mechanical
Total Experience Required (In yrs.) 3-4Yr Relevant Experience (In yrs.) 1-4yr

Functional / Technical Expertise :

  • Proficiency with engineering design programs such as AutoCAD, Solid works, and Rhino etc.
  • Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • The ability to stay abreast of advancements in technology and engineering design trends.
  • Candidate with past experience in design engineering of meter mix Machines, dispensing equipment, pumps and hand tools will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Meeting with vendors and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager to determine the project requirements.
  • Conducting research to inform the design and engineering methods required for the mechanical systems.
  • Planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD programs.
  • Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs.
  • Overseeing the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing.
  • Documenting the design process, iterations, and test analytics.
  • Liaising with designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence.
  • Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices.

Purpose of the role :

  • Responsible for sourcing high-quality raw materials, electronic components, and pneumatic hardware at the most competitive prices. Also, must balance technical specifications with cost-efficiency and ensure a “Zero-Breakdown” supply chain for production.

Ideal Profile :

Educational Qualification Essential: Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical / Mechatronics)
Preferred: Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical / Mechatronics)
Total Experience Required (In yrs.) Min. 3-5 years Relevant Experience (In yrs.) 3-5 years

Functional / Technical Expertise :

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical abilities.
  • Good technical knowledge of mechanical components and materials.
  • Knowledge of GST, Customer duty & import / export documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Ability to read technical datasheets (TDS).

Key Responsibilities :

      Technical Sourcing

  • Source specialized components for robotics and dispensing machines.
  • Understand technical drawings and BOM (Bill of Materials) to ensure 100% accuracy in parts ordered.
  • Ensure 100% correctness in material specifications, quantities, and revisions while placing orders.
  • Coordinate with Design and Production teams to clarify technical requirements when needed.

      Vendor Development & Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors, especially within the Pune industrial hub and selected global suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to close cost-effective deals.
  • Evaluate vendor performance based on Quality, Lead Time, and Credit Terms.

      Cost Optimization

  • Perform Value Engineering by identifying alternative materials or components that meet the same functional and performance requirements at lower cost.
  • Drive continuous cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality or machine reliability.

      Inventory & Coordination

  • Implement best procurement and purchasing practices to optimize inventory levels and reduce warehouse carrying costs.
  • Coordinate with the Production Planning team to prevent line-down or material shortage situations.
  • Manage the “Inward Quality” process—ensuring that what was ordered is exactly what was delivered.

  • This is typically a full-time position, with working hours depending on the company’s operational schedule.
  • Need to be available on-call to handle emergencies or urgent operational matters outside of normal hours.
